I worked as a travel and tourism guide in Egypt for travels companies and individuals. It involved knowledge of antiquities, culture, and general knowledge. Having been born and bred in Egypt wasn’t enough and many courses were required to ensure we retained a good reputation. I had the good fortune of traveling through Egypt and meeting people from all around the world. The latter gave me a thirst for culture and travel. When arriving in the UK, I pursued the hospitality sector as it was tricky to get into the field of tourism and travel. I am very much a people person and enjoy learning new cultures and languages.
